#NOAA / #NWS has declared #tornado watches over a broad part of #MO, from the SW corner across through #JCMO, and on to areas from Quincy, #IL, and Hannibal, MO, to the outskirts of the #St_Louis metro.
A watch means bad weather is possible. It does not mean said weather is imminent or certain.

USA Today: The #Chargers Were Always An Awful Fit for #Los_Angeles https://nu.federati.net/url/251310 [usatoday\.com]
I mostly agree. The Chargers should have stayed in #San_Diego, where they had a loyal and enthusiastic fan base. They and the #NFL erred in moving them 100 miles North.
(I personally care not for the #Rams, either. They left !SoCal for #St_Louis, #MO, and should have stayed there.)

At this point, #StLouis is just hoping that the score isn’t embarrassing.

Also, I saw news stories about the promises the #Rams extracted from #St_Louis, #MO, only to abandon that city, the same way they had abandoned #Los_Angeles, #CA, years earlier. That was dirty.

Even with all the time I've spent in #Missouri over the past 8 years, this is the first time that the #St_Louis area has been a positive experience. I've been all over St Louis and St Charles counties and all the way down to Cape Girardeau County, wearing my Dodgers cap.
Except for bad / slow drivers and a hotel permeated with cigarette smoke, I haven't experienced anything negative here.

It looks like #St_Louis, #MO, is only 2 1/2 hours away from #Peoria, #IL. Not sure I'd take a 5 hour round-trip drive over a 2-3 hour walk on the Katy Trail, but I'll consider it.
