I got to #videochat with #GS4 & #GS5 yesterday. #GS3 was watching TV, and did not participate. We’re going to have another videochat today, without any television 📺 to interfere.
The almost two years old child was at the limit of his verbal expression, but he was clear about what he was saying. “I’m happy that we’re having this chat, but I want you to come back and talk in person.”

#GS4 still weighs less than 25lb. He will be two years old in a few months. His younger brother #GS5 is three months old and currently weighs 16.5lb. Of course, he will lose weight once he starts crawling and walking, but wow.

Also, #GS5's medical tests are back. The specialist says that he seems okay, but that follow ups are needed in about a year, to see if the suspicious pattern has progressed.

#GS5's medical tests have not found the problem, so they are requesting a referral to a specialist. In the meantime, he is really fussy.

Holding #GS5 and he starts crying. Grandpa started softly singing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm-ISatLDG0 and it seemed to calm him for a while.

#GS5 seems to have decided that he’s a “hold me all the time” baby, not a “put me down, I’ll call you when I want you” baby. This cuts deeply into #GS4’s “pick me up” time. There’s some adjustment needed for the 1.5 year old, and I expect he’ll resist it at first.

#GS3, #GS4, and #GS5 are asleep, but Hamilton continues. I seem to recall buying some historian’s book about Alexander Hamilton, along with both the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers. I think I bought two copies each (one sent home and one sent to #sonTwo, so should be here somewhere).
If I can find them, I think I’ll try to read some portion of those books.

The boys ( #GS3 and #GS4 ) have met their new baby brother, #GS5, and are swarming him. The 3.5 year old asked what to feed him, cheeseburgers or macaroni and cheese.
Mother and baby tested free of COVID-19 and baby has a few days of antibiotics because of his brothers' recent illness.
