#lazyNephew keeps asking me whether my TrumpBucks have come yet. As though he thinks those funds will be used for anything other than bills.

#lazyNephew ordered Little Caesar's #pizza. Now I remember why I have not had their food in 25 years. At least their pepperoni pizza is mega-salty.
-
Dinner tonight was leftovers. Two nights ago, #lazyNephew ordered from a wing place. Yesterday, my sister cooked spaghetti. Tonight, I mixed winglets and fries with spaghetti.

This sister that lives here told me that she got a letter from her auto lender saying that she qualifies for a loan to buy another car. I hope she did not tell #lazyNephew, because he'll beg and promise, trying to get her to buy him a car, when she's already overstretched and stressed out about making the payments that she already owes (including paying off the last car she co-signed for him).

Talked to #faveNephew last night about his cousin #lazyNephew. Starting to get frustrated with him about him not contributing around the house (and with my sister for not teaching her sons that "everyone contributes when and where they can").
-
Okay, it is time for me to wrap it up and get in bed. #LazyNephew is flatulent today, so leaving my room means walking down a hallway filled with his expelled gas. (I don’t know what he ate today, besides instant ramen noodle soup, but whatever it was, he’s sharing.)

Today: I only went to three stores. No TP in any of them. Canned goods are almost gone now. Most frozen vegetables are gone, but those microwave meals are still in stock. Let me correct that. Nearly all vegetables are gone, whether fresh or frozen, whole or sliced. Meat is almost all gone.
Thanks to hoarders, everyone that had no extra funds available are now having to spend EXTRA time in public places seeking necessities.
(We're not in any danger of starving. We have a at least couple of weeks worth of food, depending on how much #lazyNephew eats at home.)
-
Now the mad rush to consume all the leftovers before they spoil. A lot depends on whether #lazyNephew still has money ... he eats almost as much as the rest of us combined, but he will eat fast food (instead of home-cooked) if he can afford it.

Dang. #lazyNephew is drooling over some no-name gaming laptop he found. https://www.eluktronics.com/MECH-15-G2
If he thinks he's going to spend $2K on a laptop, he's going to have to get a second job or replace his current part-time job with a full-time job.

@moonman > leaks gas all the time
Oh, my #lazyNephew visits your place?

I’ve completely ignored the talk about #Google #Stadia and such, because I’m not a gamer. But when #lazyNephew grumbles about lag and slowness (the connection here is 50Mbps down and 50Mbps up) in his current gameplay, I imagine that those whose connections are slower than this are having even worse experiences. Therefore, I think a streaming-only game solution is doomed to be unusable in most of the US.
Maybe they can bring back the local pay-to-play shops where Internet speeds were higher than normal, so that gamers can satisfy their online multiplayer needs. Otherwise, the best online multiplayer experiences will have to come from reviving peer-based LAN parties.

I think I embarrassed #lazyNephew by reminding him of some long forgotten things he did when he was in high school.

Hmmm. Does this sound “ethically challenged” to you?
In 2018, I bought computer parts so that #lazyNephew in #SoCal could build two computers. In 2019, he sold one of them to his brother #Papaya in #TX. When it arrived, Papaya said it did not work, but his older brother had already spent the money.

My sister’s granddaughter ( #lazyNephew’s daughter ) is bored ? ... I don’t know what he’s doing, but he’s trying to get her to watch TV so he can do his thing. She jumps up, yelling “Uncle Walt!” and runs down the hallway to greet me every time she hears me walking past.
That’s not just today. That’s almost every day.

#lazyNephew is struggling with the Elgato HD60 Pro driver conflict versus #Win10 v.1809
I’m not helping him with it. I figure he can use a search engine just like I would.

My #lazyNephew turned a question I asked her oldest son into a dig, so I had to pull the kid aside and make sure he knew I did not intend for that question to have an uncomfortable follow up.

Got a message from #lazyNephew, complaining about the temperature in his room. Knowing that there is typically a cool breeze blowing from around 19:00 to 22:00 or 23:00, I told him to open both windows in his room and use a fan to push hot air out one window. Also to turn off everything he’s not actively using at the moment.
It surprised me that a twenty-seven year old would not do these things already. In my room, those two things make it cool enough to sleep most nights (unlike the previous house, which was built in 1972, during the “unlimited energy” years).
-
@kaikatsu Congratulations. You came up with an excuse that #lazyNephew never thought of.

#lazyNephew is starting to apply for jobs. The "guaranteed" job he said he'd have if he could just hold out until 2019-June (a year after he lost his old job) fell through.

Lunch with one of my brothers and his wife. We talked about all the recent good and bad of the family. I found out that one of my sisters told another sister (mother of #lazyNephew) that her twenty-seven year old son needs to get a job. Naturally, this angered the mother of lazyNephew, so they aren’t speaking right now.
