Waterpark brawl. https://www.kcra.com/article/raging-waters-closed-brawl-cal-expo-police/28810491 #Sac

My mom called recently to ask me about a #Sacramento area transit train collision. I hadn't even been aware a train crash near #Sac.

One thong I can say: compared to parts of !SoCal's Mojave Desert, #Sacramento feels hot. I know it is because it is more humid here (right about now, residents of MS, LA, FL are laughing at the low level of moisture that Californians call "humid", but if you from an arid place, it is humid in #Sac).

Weather Underground says 101F to 107F (feels like 101F to 115F) in #Sacramento and the #Sac area. It does feel hot, that’s for sure.

103F in Mesa, #AZ.
90F in #Sac, which is fairly comfortable for #Sacramento.
-
#Sacramento weather: 105°F and sunny. Winds SSW 9MPH. 16% relative humidity. It is hot in #Sac today.
-
@nybill I'm told #Sacramento has one drive-in theater still operating. Maybe #Sac is just 30-40 years behind everywhere else.

There’s a movie coming out about the largest hostage crisis that ever happened on US soil. It happened 28 years ago, 1991-04-04, in an unincorporated #Sac community. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Sacramento_hostage_crisis
Weirdly, I don’t remember anything about this, but it would likely have been all over the news. I’m marking it. #TIL for that reason.

It will be a scorcher in inland parts of #NorCal today, including #Sac, with temperatures around 100°F. #SanFran cooler at 69°F.

I can’t find any evidence that last night’s power outage affected anyone beyond my hotel. By 02:00, the air conditioning had been off long enough for me to wake up because I was hot. Shortly after 03:00, power came back on. Any #Sac residents confirm the outage?

I have a reputation in the #Sac office for being picky about food. It isn’t that I’m picky, it is that one person here always has some new snack item and wants everyone else to share the benefits of the previously unknown item. I almost never want to try her new snacks, so I’m very picky.

It seems that many #Sac drivers fear a device known as gash-peh-dull, perhaps because of the feeling that one's car is moving forward.

On yesterday's mall visit, we found a "travel store" that had luggage. Since my luggage (but not the contents) was damaged during the flight from #SoCal to #Sac, I went into the store, but their pricing was too expensive for me. I'm not carrying gold bullion and I don't need to spend like it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_bar
