I’m currently running the updater to bring it up to 22.04 LTS.
I’m tempted to reinstall it with #Devuan, but I will wait to see what #Ubuntu has done to it first. -

I still see #Audacity, and wonder now whether it contains some of the user-hostile changes that led to Tenacity and #Saucedacity forking in the first place. -

I want to default to #Devuan, with an occasional #Debian (or #Ubuntu family, or #Linux_Mint) then use other distros on an as needed basis.
I have one computer at home that runs #NixOS and one that runs #OpenSuse. I'm likely to keep the SuSE machine running that software, but NixOS is too different and too bleeding edge for someone who regularly leaves home for a year. -

Watch your distro's repos for updates soon.

Today: Update and reboot.
Two days later: Update and reboot.
Two or three days after that: Update and reboot. -

Applies equally to #Xubuntu, #Lubuntu, etc.
Yes, I can see this being annoying. #Fedora hides the non-Gnome versions, so that most people get GNOME. Since I've hated the look and feel of GNOME ever since I first encountered it, I always look for KDE or other alternative desktops. -

Even my #Win10 laptop uses UTC.
Too many family members are in timezones other than US-Pacific. Using a local timezone is just confusing, just as using AM and PM instead of 24-hour time is. -

If necessary, put the nick in a parenthetical. I can figure out that version 10 is newer than version 9, and that 20.04 is newer than 18.04, but what the heck does a "Ravenous Rabbit" nick tell me? -

My co-worker #S is trying to help someone decide whether to allow the doctor to videochat (via a system called "Zoom") instead of a face to face visit.
It seems odd that they could use #Zoom unless they are HIPPA certified. With all the security flaws they seem to be having, and privacy flaws as well, I cannot imagine that Zoom is #HIPPA certified. -
