@moonman It is pretty important that someone posts this, because people who did not know/understand why they saw people they didn't like will certainly promote their different viewpoint.

Besides, we're learning now (again) how important it is to gather & collect histories of major events in the #fediverse ... so many early instances and admins are gone, and people's memories full of holes. Record it. If someone disagrees, they can record their version. Some time in the future, someone can look at both and come to their own conclusion as to what really happened and why.
