   Talked to #sonTwo on #Fathers_Day. Left #sonOne a message to focus on enjoying time with my granddaughters. #Daddy_A is still suffering phone anxiety, so I expect he'll text in a few days to tell me he couldn't handle a call today.

   I enjoy this day. Dad's been gone fifty years, so I don't get to share it with him, but I've tried not to let that hinder these guys' enjoyment (currently 40, 30, 29 years old).

     @assmilk I have scattered memories of him, events where he played a prominent part, but not enough to give a real idea of him as a person. I wasn't even in high school yet, so my memories are discolored by a child's self-blame for the parent's death.
