There was a strange siren going off, so I was not sure whether it was some sort of weather alert (like the tornado sirens heard in the midwest) or a custom alarm for someone's car. After several minutes, it stopped, so I expect it was the latter.
#PR really is a strange land sometimes. I never know what to expect.

#Beryl is here. I hear generators, but my building still has power. Winds around 30-35MPH, gusts around 40MPH, water falling from the sky. This is going to be cool. It is too weak to be a real hurricane, but close enough so I get to experience what the experience is like.

First advance band has passed. Now we've got sub-20MPH wind, medium rainfall. Now I'm wondering whether that alarm really was storm-related.
Watching the waves, though, I can see how Gilligan and the skipper got into trouble. That's really a beautiful green color, darker than "seafoam" but still pretty.
