@vegos Given the perception that government is interfering in individuals' lives, most people want to limit its initiatives (but they'll always prefer actions that directly benefit them and cost others to actions that do not directly benefit them and which increase their own costs). -

@alpacaherder In theory, I agree, but much of the federal government exists by virtue of overly broad interpretation of the commerce clause, and is performing duties rightly belonging to the states. @vegos @veg05
