Though everything I know about you is due to your posts in this network, I have found you to be an interesting, committed, hard-working person, seeking to better the world through your #hardened-bsd distro. I think that is a very worthwhile task, and I've been (silently) glad you chose to do this.

The world may never acknowledge you or your work, but you are benefiting the *nix world and the world in general by your contributions.

Other people may be afraid to say anything, because the fear is that one wrong word may be the final trigger. I had to think long and hard about responding, because of that. This means many may appreciate you and your work without ever saying so.
