My only hard requirements are (1) *I’m tracking me*, not collecting data for someone else’s tracking and marketing business, so any sort of calling home or creating an account with $COMPANY is a disqualifier; and (2) whatever data it collects should be reasonably accurate. -

Calories burned is a nice to have, but calorie intake likely needs a remote endpoint to gather the info on different brands of products. I'd have to think about other things that it could track.
