   Another brief power outage overnight. Everything seems to be back except the refrigerator. And the water heater, but that’s been offline for over a week now.
   
   I’m starting to understand why C (who grew up in #PR before moving to #NYC) won’t come here except for brief visits to see his mom.

     It does no good to throw fits here. This is a place where they got used to being without power or water half of most weeks. The option for those who find it intolerable has always been to move to the US mainland.

     @geniusmusing About a week. And then I'll be off work until at least early April. I'm hoping to get some time with the new grandson that will be born next month.

     I think the power was undervoltage. Just a few minutes ago, the light turned green and the refrigerator started running again. https://nu.federati.net/attachment/206129

     You can't see it in the photo, but there are some little lights with painted over Spanish text next to them. One of the red lights was glowing all morning, but just a few minutes ago, the green light came on, followed by the refrigerator starting to work.
