   @kai @bthall Assuming that people learn from their mistakes (a questionable assumption at best). Then again, college is about learning to question the assumptions behind what you're told, which is definitely NOT what most employers want from their employees.

     I agree. I don't think we're helping by telling people they *have to* pile up $100K of unsheddable student loan debt or they'll spend their lives working in #Gree-C-Burger. Most people would probably be better off in an on-the-job training program or apprenticeship, or even a trade school / vocational school.
