He eventually wound up in Florida as a sheriff's deputy ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Quackenbush ). How does someone with a publicly-documented history of theft and dishonesty become a law enforcement officer, even in #FL?

The indictment against the Georgia Insurance Commissioner reminded me of our own state's issue. AFAIK, #GA has not removed Commissioner Beck from office yet.
