It is 107°F in the Phoenix #AZ area, so this is nothing to them.

102F in the Arden-Arcade area of #Sacramento #CA. #Sac is another one of those places that gets a lot hotter than one would expect. But the plus is that there is often a cool sea breeze coming from the Bay Area in the evenings.

I think Fahrenheit is actually better for common use. People easily understand that temperatures near 0F are cold enough to hurt or kill you if you don't take precautions, and temperatures near 100F are hot enough to hurt or kill you if you don't take precautions; they correspond to about -18C to +38C, which are awfully strange numbers to try and remember.
I can see a reason to move distance and volume measures to metric, but not common temperatures.

I usually provide both temperature measurements (thanks to a conversion app on my tablet), but if I'm posting from the tablet or if I'm streaming on the tablet, that app is unavailable to me.
