     The lady she's talking to speaks standard Mexican Spanish. But most of their conversation is in American English.

     I'm not joining the conversation, but I am reminded of learning a few phrases in Puerto Rico, then calling #faveNephew and him telling me "we don't say that" and "we don't say it that way".
