I think I recall him trying to release the names of "problem deputies" and getting blocked at every turn. Perhaps he decided to get along with entrenched corrupt and abusive deputies instead of fighting and losing.

Is #SoCal unusual in having police gangs? I've read in the past about gangfights between LASD gangs and #LAPD gangs.
