Apparently 35K people reported last night's #earthquake. It was felt over a wide area, from Santa Maria to Portersville to Bakersfield to Barstow to Twenty-nine Palms to Chula Vista.

There were a few odd reports from the Sacramento area, from Utah, from Colorado. Assuming they reported the same event and not something local that happened around the same time, it is interesting to think that there may be underground rock formations that "ducted" the shaking to some of these areas.
