I just saw that there was an M7.0 #earthquake in Greece at 2020-10-30 11:51:27 UTC. It was in the Dodecanese Islands, about 50 miles from Izmir, #Turkey.

680 people reported feeling the shaking to the USGS website. I’m sure Greece and Turkey have their own geology research agencies (given the area’s history of earthquakes and volcanoes), so these are people who went out of their way to contact the US government in addition to or instead of their own government.

USGS has no #tsunami information, but that was several hours ago, so it is likely that any waves have traversed the Mediterranean and bounced back to recross the sea already.
