New videos from one of my daughters-in-law: She’s using the blocks I bought to teach #GS3 to say the names of colors. So far, he says “purple” and “yellow”. I do not know whether he realizes that “purple” goes with the purple-colored blocks and “yellow” goes with the yellow-colored blocks, but that’s a start.

He still calls both parents (and grandpa!) “Dadda”, but we’re working on that, too. He knows how to say “Mama”, but he only says it during the reading of “the Mama book”.
