#tornado danger for Southern US states ... multiple #tornadoes reported
-
Several #tornadoes reported in #AL. Also some in #KS, #MO, #IL, #MS. Probably other states as well, but these are the ones I’ve seen reports about.
One passed near Tuscaloosa, Alabama, which saw some major #tornado damage in 2011.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/18/weather/tornadoes-severe-weather-storms-thursday/index.html [www cnn com] says five states were hit yesterday, but only specifies Alabama and Mississippi. They mention three states ( Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina ) as most likely to see #tornadoes today.
If you are in any of these states (or Florida, Ohio, and probably Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia) ... take a moment today and review your living area for potential shelter-in-place locations. Even if you have a public #tornado shelter nearby, you may not be able to get there quickly enough.

@storm That is good news. It means you don’t have to skip down the yellow brick road, past the wicked witch of the West, on your way to ask the wizard of oz to send you back home.
