     Looks like #USGS revised their estimate after sending the alert. https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/ak0215xdjdm1/executive is likely the same #earthquake, but is only M4.7.

     The estimate has been revised again: now M4.8.
     
     In just a couple of minutes of time, they’ve changed their estimate twice. I’m not monitoring the page, but I was reading the details and when I came back, the number had changed.

     And before I closed the tab, they revised their estimate again. Now M4.9.
     
     If this was sports, it would be the 18th hole in a close Nicklaus-Trevino match, most people would yawn, but others are watching intently, trying not to miss the deciding moment.
     
     Either way, I closed the tab, so I won’t see any more revised estimates of the earthquake’s intensity.
