   Found out today that area code 318 is also Louisiana. I think I've mentioned it before, but my work cell gets 3-4 call attempts per day from #LA area codes. Except recently, the number is far less, and I think that's because they are re-using old spoofed numbers that I've already blocked.
   
   Since I've worked in Louisiana twice (for a total of about 21 months), I must have gotten on someone's list that way. I do occasionally get a spam call from another state's area code, but that is less than once per week.

     @silkevicious Yeah, and it is important to realize that the number you see is faked. The real person (if any) who has that number did not call you.
     
     I once got a spam call from my own cell number. Except it wasn't from my number, because I answered the call with my cell.
