Earlier this year, I read about a book "Maus" that was being removed from a school district's curriculum because it depicted Nazi-ism's effect on one family too accurately. I ordered a copy for my 14 year old granddaughter. (This version, at least, is a graphical novel ... a book turned into a long comic book.)
It never arrived. In the process of inquiring, I concluded that the sellers (multiple) were relying on the publisher and the distributor to handle order fulfillment ... and the publisher was caught off-guard by the increased demand for the book. One seller offered to refund ... I'm going to take them up on the offer. The other seller kept to the "give it 10-14 days" shtick since mid-February. I just asked for a refund.
I still want #GD1 to have and to read that book. I'm just going to have to acquire it elsewhere.
