@kai Which only helps if the tenants have excellent public transit on both ends of their daily commute. Otherwise, it just means more parking tickets for renters who cannot find a legal place to park. Pretty sure it will *not* be beneficial for !SoCal residents in #Los_Angeles or #San_Diego. Maybe it will help in #San_Francisco.

I read it as "residential" construction, which is what we sorely need.
I just know a few people within the actual city of Los Angeles who complain about getting tickets due to lack of parking for their buildings. This bill sounds good unless you already have some acquaintance with people who can't find legal parking near their residences.

@kai Maybe we need more multiple-use buildings, so there are businesses and housing together. At least some of the residents can work right there.

@kai @bhtooefr motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, buses, trains, and on foot (for reducing traffic congestion). More residential construction (for reducing housing unaffordability).
