@sulman The #LATimes, in typical fashion, ignores the outlying cities and counties. Aggressive police harassment in #Los_Angeles (both city and county) at one point caused homeless people to flee to other !SoCal areas, such as #Orange_County and the #Inland_Empire. The now-closed Fontana rest area along #I-10 used to be filled every night with car-dwellers. -

@sulman My area was once one of the fastest growing (population-wise) areas in the country, primarily by people escaping from the crazy real estate prices in and near Los Angeles. (The trick is, most people can't afford to live in my area unless they drive the 100 miles back there to work every day.)
