@andstatus I've read the #AndStatus change log. No mention that it would take seven hours for the app to finish updating and downloading. No mention that the new "Friends" timeline downloads account info and most recent post for each of my ~300 contacts. No mention that the "Home" timeline would be frozen in time, never displaying anything other than its last pre-upgrade state. No mention that the "Interactions" timeline is ONLY available in combine-all-your-accounts view, where you're likely to reply using the wrong account. No mention that there are some incoming posts that now never appear in any timeline (but are visible in the web or other clients).
Are there any other "gotchas" I need to be aware of?

Now that #AndStatus lacks a "Replies" stream, is there a usable #GNU_Social client for #Android?

Yes, the old #AndStatus does. The new version installed this morning on my phone, and in addition to missing familiar streams, it takes a lot longer to load new posts or to post a new post yourself.
My FOOD post took around one hour from the time I sent it until AndStatus was finished retrieving data and the most recent post from every person I subscribe to. Only then did it send the post.
