Hmm. Two small (3.2 and 3.7) quakes near Bluffdale, #UT today around 05:02 and 05:09 MST (12:02 and 12:09 UTC). They were big enough that people may have felt them.
Also 2.x quakes (1 per state) in #AZ, #WA, #ID in the past 24 hours. -

I talked to someone at work that broke the top ball joint off his right femur because he was on a #bike with toe clips and could not get his feet out in time to prevent a hard fall on his hip. A few minutes later, someone walked up to me and told me a very similar tale about his friend in #AZ.

I told both of them I was never rich enough to be able to be able to afford clips and now I'm glad about that. -

Fourteen months ago, #Little_Boy_A was explaining to me that the games he wanted were not going to be available for their #Nintendo #Wii-U, only for #3DS / #2DS and the #Switch. Two weeks later, I bought a used 2DS at GameStop and shipped it to #AZ.
I’m considering buying him a 2DS XL ... does anyone know what advantages and disadvantages the XL has in comparison to the regular 2DS? -

@delores No, but I'm sure they'll wonder why you're leaving Canada to live in the US.
But seriously, I think they look for desirable job skills, especially if you have an actual job offer already. They may suspect you of moving here to try and collect benefits, but I can't imagine that you'd gain anything social benefits-wise by coming to the US (and especially if you wind up in #AZ). -

Some of those #AZ monsoon rains headed West to !SoCal. I'm getting messages from #NOAA / #NWS / #iNWS about storms and expected flooding in #San_Bernardino county. I expect #Riverside, #Inyo, #Kern, #Imperial counties may also have this weather. -

@notclacke I must admit, it is quite enjoyable not having to worry about exactly which weekend is "Spring forward" or "Fall back" ( #PR doesn't have daylight wasting time. ) I wish more US states would follow the example of #AZ. -

@mike I'm told it snows in Tempe, #AZ, but I've only been through there once, and that was during the Summer. It does snow in high and intermediate deserts (such as most of the Mojave desert in #SoCal). -

It's almost 05:00 in #AZ. 96°F in the Phoenix area, according to Accuweather, heading toward a peak of 110°F. Humidity is 25% and clouds cover about half the sky, so temperatures are only dropping 20°F overnight, not the 30-40°F one expects in SW deserts.
