   I talked to someone at work that broke the top ball joint off his right femur because he was on a #bike with toe clips and could not get his feet out in time to prevent a hard fall on his hip. A few minutes later, someone walked up to me and told me a very similar tale about his friend in #AZ.

   I told both of them I was never rich enough to be able to be able to afford clips and now I'm glad about that.

     @lnxw48a1 I avoid clips for the same reason. Easier to bail if something goes wrong. Also, I'm dumb enough to forget to unclip when stopping.
