Suddenly craving #pizza. That was one of the cool things about having #Daddy_A still close to home a few years ago. I could order a couple of large pizzas, have them delivered to their place, have one or two slices of each, and not be eating pizza all week. -

#Daddy_A sent me a photo of #Baby_A2 playing with the Hot Wheels toys I sent. I guess he's old enough for a new nickname: #Toddler_A2, since he'll be 2 years old soon. -

When #sonTwo and #Daddy_A were still home, we would usually celebrate #Independence_Day by attending a baseball game (there was a minor league team a couple of cities over from us).
After the game, the team had a big fireworks show. After the show was over, there was a fireworks stand in the parking lot. The crowd of thousands would buy fireworks and have a giant fireworks show of our own. Then we'd help clean up the mess and the boys would sleep while I drove us home.
Somewhere around 2007 or 2008, I stopped being home around that time, so I've usually been out of the state. -

What #PS4 game should I get? I want something that I can play, that #sonOne (age 40), #sonTwo ( age 30), #Daddy_A (age 29), and @mike would all enjoy. I’m buying five copies of the game, so cheaper is better. -

Talked to #sonTwo on #Fathers_Day. Left #sonOne a message to focus on enjoying time with my granddaughters. #Daddy_A is still suffering phone anxiety, so I expect he'll text in a few days to tell me he couldn't handle a call today.

I enjoy this day. Dad's been gone fifty years, so I don't get to share it with him, but I've tried not to let that hinder these guys' enjoyment (currently 40, 30, 29 years old). -

I don't know. I find it hard to believe that he hasn't known since February that I called.
I love you, #Daddy_A, but just say "I don't want to talk to you" instead of "my phone doesn't ring and notifications don't work".
My answer will be "You don't have to talk to me. I'll call on #Wire and videochat with #Little_Boy_A and #Baby_A2 every week". -

#Daddy_A was whining on one of the #Lockiverse sites about not having anyone to talk to. #sonTwo called bull on his claim, pointing out that answering his phone automatically gets him someone who cares and wants to talk with him.

Fun fact: When #sonTwo and #Daddy_A were in high school, I started pronouncing "knife" as "kuh-NIFF-fee" ... fifteen years later, I still do, except when I'm talking about "Knife Party" (B-B-B-Bonfire!). -
