Time to start getting Winter clothing for #GS3, so he’s not suffering when the weather changes in #MO. #sonTwo says he’s just about to outgrow his 9 months clothing (at almost 7 months), and that the other families he knows that have babies say their kids are almost all bigger than the clothing sizes for their ages.
( Cousin #Little_Boy_A2 is now 3, but even before his 3rd birthday, he caught and briefly passed his 6 year old brother in height and weight. ) -

#GS3 is growing new teeth and he's cranky about it. He's a lot more serious in his most recent photo than he's been for a few months. -

I had a delightful videochat conversation with #sonTwo, his wife, and #GS3. We talked about the island assignment offer and whether we could find a way to continue having these chats regularly if I was in the other timezone.
I’ve just hinted at it with #sonOne, because I’m sure it would be even harder to continue my chats with seven year old #GD2.
It’s already hard to schedule time with #Daddy_A to chat with those kids. We *think* we’ll have one this Saturday, for the first time this year. -

An island location of $EMPLOYER is asking for people to come work there. I’m concerned about #timezones possibly preventing me from videochatting with grandkids.
I want to talk with #sonOne about scheduling chats with #GD1 and #GD2 before I head to the #hairport. #sonTwo already said they’ll try to adapt #GS3’s schedule to enable communication. -

We're starting to put #GS3 on videochat a couple more times per week so grandpa can say goodnight. I'm really enjoying that. I'm going ask the other sons about increased video time with their kids. -

I didn't get to #videochat with #GD2 today*, but I did get a brief session when #sonTwo called to let me say good night to #GS3.
* For the 3rd week in a row. I'll have to check with #sonOne tomorrow to see whether she's been doing her chores and homework. Usually, when she doesn't call, it is because he took her electronics away again. -

At his four month check-up, #GS3 was at the 90th percentile for length / height. At the sixth month check-up, he’s below the 50th percentile, even though he grew. He is trying to crawl, but hasn’t figured it out yet. The dog has started to bring him her toys -

Does anyone have opinions about #Stockpile? #sonTwo is talking about starting an account for #GS3 so that other family members can contribute to my grandson’s future. I have seen their gift cards in Target, but that’s all I know. -

I really do enjoy these weekly videochats with #sonTwo and his wife and #GS3. It isn’t quite the same as when #Little_Boy_A was that age, because #Daddy_A and family were right around the corner and I saw him in person multiple times each week, but it is still helping us attach. -

Went to UPS Store to ship stuff for #GS3. Someone in line ahead of me was there to send faxes. It’s really weird. I remember when faxes were suddenly the new thing and we were all going to have fax machines in our homes. Now, other than government offices and UPS Stores & Fedex Kinkos stores, no one has seen a fax machine in years. -
