#GS3 goes to his toy box to get things to play with. I want to tell my daughter-in-law that #sonTwo never learned to put things away after he’s done (well, not before he moved out), so she should start teaching his son now. -

Weather and traffic conditions took what is normally a one-hour trip to my sister's house and made it more like 3-5 hours, so we did not go. Some of us will try to get together tomorrow at the same place.
I was initially pretty angry, because conditions were better when I was ready to begin our trip (3.5 hours earlier) and the delay was avoidable. But that dissipated when I talked to my grandson #GS3 via #Wire videochat. -

Took some stuff to the house of one of my sisters, so it will already be there on Thanksgiving. I brought my tablet and hotspot, and sure enough, we were not back home when it was time for my good night videochat with #GS3. Then, when I got here, #GD2 called so that she and #GD1 (and her friend whose name I always misspell) could say hi. -

My daughter-in-law sent me a new picture of #GS3 using a box to lift himself into standing position. As he was lifting himself, he saw her, and the photo shows a "You caught me" look on his face.
(He stand-leans all the time, but usually, he's already standing [holding himself up with one hand] when the picture is taken.) -

Realized that it is almost 22:30 in #MO. I have been sitting here half-dozing, so that I would not go to sleep and miss a possible #GS3 good night call. But now I know that he’s been asleep for at least an hour, so I also can go to bed.

My daughter-in-law reads “The Dada Book” and “The Mama Book” (presents from Grandpa) to #GS3 each day. He hasn’t expressed a preference for one specific book yet, unlike his cousin #Little_Boy_A2, who strongly preferred TDB for a few months. -

Most of #GS3’s Winter clothing arrived today. He also got an outfit that resembles his dad’s work uniform. And another shirt that looks like the ones grandpa wears. -

This is interesting. I told #sonOne that I was considering a position with #sonTwo’s employer at almost a 50% pay cut. He replies with an opening at his employer for only a 25% cut.
They are 2.5 to 3 hours apart, and I want to see #GS3 nearly every day, so we’ll have to see. -
