#NOAA / #NWS continuing to warn (about 40 since yesterday) about minor flooding near streams and in low-lying areas of #MO. Since this is so widespread, I'm sure the easternmost portions of #KS, the northwestern corner of #AR, and portions of #IL across from Hannibal down to St Louis are having some of the same things.
If you're in the middle of the US, just remember not to try to cross flooded areas, whether walking or driving.

From Hannibal to Joplin and Springfield and West Plains. 1-3 inches of rain have fallen across the area. Unmentioned: adjacent areas, such as parts of #IL, #KS, #AR, which may get some overlap from this storm system.

#NOAA / #NWS winter weather advisories for the mountains of !SoCal’s #San_Bernardino and #Riverside counties: up to two inches of snow above 5,000 feet and 45-60MPH wind gusts along mountain crests and desert slopes. Plan on slippery roads, reduced visibility, downed tree limbs.
(They don’t mention the #I-15 or Cajon Pass at all, so it may not have a big effect on traveling to celebratory gatherings.)

#NOAA / #NWS sent me over 100 more alerts in the past 24 hours concerning #t-storms, heavy rain, flooding in #KS and #MO. Things seem to be slowing down a little, but if you’re in either of those states or in a nearby state, be alert in low-lying areas and near streams and rivers.

There's a stripe from #OK to #WI (including parts of KS, MO, the very NW corner of #AR, the very SE corner of #NE, eastern #IA, western #IL, parts of #MN) where floods are likely over the next few days.

Also areas near Ridgecrest and N into #Inyo County halfway to Bishop, including Trona, Darwin, Panamint Springs, Stovepipe Wells, Searles Valley.

Areas affected include Baker, Dumont Dunes, SR127, Tecopa, 29 Palms (city, base, airport), Lost Horse-Keys Village, Joshua Tree, SR62.
