Hundreds of #NOAA / #NWS warnings about minor flooding in my inbox. I just deleted 400 earlier this week and they're back over 200.

Wow. There are around 200 #NOAA / #NWS alerts from the past 36 hours sitting unopened in my inbox. That's because I left the #t-storm and #flooding warnings unopened and only looked directly at #tornado warnings.

Whew. My work cell has around 35 #NOAA / #NWS alerts about #t-storms and tornadoes in #KS and #MO this evening. If you are there, make sure your weather alert radio works.

#NOAA / #NWS is sending (minor) flood warnings for Omaha #NE and Kansas City #KS / #MO ... and red flag fire weather warnings for southeast KS ans southwest MO.

#NOAA / #NWS has sent me 75 notices about flooding in #KS and #MO since yesterday. I expect most of these are minor to moderate, but if you're in the middle of the country use your noggin. Low spots can collect excess water.

#NOAA / #NWS is alerting again. Minor to moderate flooding along nearly every stream, creek, river in #KS and #MO, with a few in major flood stage.
Also, the Mississippi River is flooded from southern #IL to northern #LA, but it doesn’t seem to be a big event yet.

BTW, I'm getting lots of messages from #NOAA / #NWS about minor flooding along creeks and rivers in #KS and #MO. I also see such warning are issued for Lincoln and Omaha, #NE.

More "mixed precipitation" for the Kansas City area. #NOAA / #NWS is alerting for a broad stripe across the top of KC and northward to the top of #KS and #MO as far as Kirksville.
Up to two inches of snow, up to 1/10 inch of ice. Slippery road conditions. From 06:00 CST Monday to 00:00 CST Tuesday.
Another alert in Kansas from past Manhattan, from 03:00 CST Monday to 09:00 CST Monday from light freezing drizzle and snow, leaving a light glaze of ice. Again, hazardous driving conditions, with slippery roads and limited visibility.

#NOAA / #NWS Winter storm warning in the !SoCal San Bernardino mountains above 5,500 feet. 5-10 inches of snow between now and Tuesday afternoon, going up to 24 inches above 7,000 feet.

#NOAA / #NWS alert: wind chill advisory in parts of the KC area tonight. Wind chills as low as -15F to -25F from tonight at 21:00 CST until 09:00 tomorrow. Frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes, hypothermia is also a risk.
