After yesterday's tornado warning in #Kansas City, #NOAA / # NWS has sent around 50 alerts about flooding. If you're in that area stay out of low lying areas and normally dry places that have water in them. That includes roads that aaare flooded.

Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine also brings tropical storm warnings to Puerto Rico ( #PR ) and the Virgin Islands ( #USVI and #BVI ), Guadeloupe, Martinque, St Martin, Saba, St Eustatius, St Maartin. Some areas of #DR under tropical storm warning.
Caribbean interests should pay attention to their local weather agency’s warnings. Expected to be a tropical storm by tomorrow morning. At this time, not expected to become a #hurricane.

Atlantic: #TD7 is now #TropStorm #Gonzalo, expected to become a hurricane tomorrow. There is still something spinning up in the Gulf of Mexico, heading WNW toward #TX and #LA, but its chances of becoming a damaging storm are low.
Pacific: TropStorm #Douglas is now a #hurricane and still strengthening.

#NOAA / #NWS issuing severe #t-storm warnings for SW #MO starting with Neosho, SE of Joplin. The storm is moving NE at 15MPH. Hazard: ping pong ball sized hail and 60MPH wind gusts, cloud-to-ground lightning. Radar indicated.

Some severe #t-storms coming through parts of #KS and #MO tonight. Also #IL. I have no information about storms in #NE, #IA, #AR, or #OK.
So far, I've seen no tornado alerts, but #NOAA / #NWS is pumping out severe thunderstorm, flash flooding, and minor river / stream flooding alerts this evening.
