Meanwhile, #NOAA / #NWS is warning about minor flooding along portions of streams and rivers in #KS and #MO. There were some decent rains upstream recently. So far, only fifteen alerts today.
The usual advice applies: don’t drive through floodwater, as you cannot always tell how deep it is until you’re already in trouble. -

I don't know what a "level 4" storm is, but apparently, they expect one tonight in #GA. Actually, I do have an idea: The #NOAA / #NWS / #SPC Storm Prediction Center has sent out #tornado watches in parts of #MS, #AL, #TN, AR, #LA ... so their alerts in Georgia are probably an extension of the same severe #t-storm system. S probably means that an EF4 tornado is possible.

Getting several flash flood alerts from #NOAA / #NWS for !SoCal. #San_Bernardino, #Riverside, #Orange counties. Likely also true in #San_Diego, #Los_Angeles, #Ventura, #Imperial counties, but they’re not in my monitoring zone.
Avoid places with standing water on the road. Keep your speed down. Use inner lanes when you can, so you avoid the higher water accumulations in the outside lanes. -
