@hattiecat I hadn't heard much about the situation in #PR before hurricanes Irma and Maria. I knew residents pay no federal income tax, and right before Irma, I learned that bankruptcy was imminent. But now that I know they're in a (so far) 11 years long recession. -

The training class scheduled for 2018-MAY-24 & 25 is canceled. Instead, I'm going to one 2018-JUN-13 & 14. And just like that, over 50% of the $EMPLOYER job-related training I've had in almost 14 years will have happened here in #PR. -

Another advantage: hotel prices are lower outside San Juan #PR. I know those I'm close to would be happy to hear that I'm not stressing about huge travel reimbursements and payment deadlines. -
