@alpacaherder In case you hadn't guessed, upper IT management in $EMPLOYER recently addressed the complaints about them cancelling people's holiday time off requests in a very imperious manner. If the US economy actually does recover sometime, they may lose 50% or more of the field #TechTeam workforce within a few months.

Got a complement from our borrowed #TechTeam member. He said in his office, I'm famous as "the one guy in $EMPLOYER who knows his sh*t".

Spent 4+ hours driving. I get to the office and my #TechTeam member on-site is at another office, an hour away, assisting another member. Off to the other office, I guess.

Note: They are still planning to claw back overpaid overtime for #TechTeam members / IT staff going back to June of 2016.

Long phone call with Kenny, another member of $EMPLOYER's #TechTeam. The agency's problems are largely caused by mismanagement, especially mismanagement of employees (I think the most recent catchphrase is "human capital"). But he was able to get management to fix a couple of specific issues that affected him.
