@moonman i still think crypto failed hard. you shouldn't have to "cash out" into fiat. fiat should just be considered the governments currency, with crypto being the peoples. what could have turned into something big ended up being beginners stock trading.

@moonman @lain i highly doubt they make enough to be taxed unless they're ashley alban or something

@moonman hmm, i didn't know that. this still wouldn't happen if there was open support for sex work. the government should make it very easy to declare sources of income instead of relying on random peoples reports for each instance
also the more people avoiding taxes the better. fuck america dab dab

@moonman i still have some hope for cryptocurrency, but with the state of crypto mining my hopes are low. i cant see any crypto working until its hit its mining cap

@delores @moonman It is possible to leave it in #BTC or another #cryptocurrency for use in one's next transaction, but value fluctuations relative to national currencies make that risky if that isn't going to be very soon, much like leaving funds in another nation's currency.
.
One big failure, IMO, is that there are more miners and currency speculators than there are people using it to buy and sell. As the prices rise, more and more of the wrong group flocks to it. Maybe the current down period will help chase them away.
