      @simsa03 I find that two other arguments against nuclear power come up:

      1: Current nuclear technology was intentionally chosen because it produces substances useful in weapons programs.

      2: The issue of nuclear waste.

      I know there are some designs that are expected produce little if any long-lived waste (and no weapons material), but as far as I am aware, no one has built such reactors to test them out.
