   @feoh Yeah, but you're restricted to hashtags for organizing content, and the functionality is not cross-domain in the same way. It's restricted to people in your instance, and the folks connected to them. Even then, there's a chance that people on an instance will miss out on messages intended for the lot of them.

   An instance does not work well as a relay because there are no specified recipients to send and receive messages from.
