#sonTwo working another sixteen hour day today, so it is unlikely that I'll get to videochat with #GS3 tonight. Maybe I'll log into the #Mumble ... I haven't done that in a while.
-
Found an Angels baseball shirt in size 2T. It will be in the next shipment to #GS3. I’ll have to find something for my granddoggy. She’s used to boxes including a gift for her, but the most recent one did not have one.
-
I think it is time to rejigger children’s clothing sizes. #GS3 turned 1 year old about 2 months ago, and is wearing clothing sized for 2 year olds. He’s nowhere near as big as #Little_Boy_A2 was at that age (especially not as heavy).
Not that I see a lot of toddlers, but I get the feeling he’s not exceptional at all.
-
Okay. I'm major tired. Cancelling all calls for the rest of the day. As always, #GS3 is excepted.
-
#Daddy_A told me that #Little_Girl_A3 likes the book of Bible stories that I sent for her, so I got some individual stories:
* Moses
* Good Samaritan
* Joseph
They were only 99c each (guess where I found them), so I also got the same ones for her cousin #GS3.
-
I missed #GS3's bedtime again, so we didn't get our good night chat.
-
#GS3 is enjoying his new books. He's been looking through them today. I did not send anything for the #granddoggy this time. She knows she usually gets something when a box arrives, so I'll have to send her something soon.
-
#GS3 experienced an ancestral treasure today. He had his first grilled cheese sandwich. (Used to be #sonTwo's favorite food, until he discovered quesadillas.)
-
Okay, I think that's going on our calendar whenever I'm in that area. ("Our" == me, #sonTwo and his wife, #GS3; potentially #GS1 and / or #GS2, too, as they are in that corner of #KS.)

While I was on #Wire with #sonTwo and #GS3, some of my siblings had their own videochat on #JitsiMeet with my mom. Apparently, it did not go so well this time, so they went on #Zoom (without my mom).
One of my brothers sent me an e-mail where he accused me of brainwashing her against Zoom. I sent a long response. It took me a while to write, so hopefully I got past reacting to his accusation.
I said I don’t know why your camera suddenly didn’t work today. It has worked in all the other videochats. I don’t know why another brother’s microphone didn’t work today. Likewise, it has worked in all the other videochats.

My grandson #GS3 waved and said bye-bye to me. He mixes the occasional English word / phrase (always appropriate for the situation) with babbling (or maybe talking in Martian; our conversation time is too limited to see whether he has patterns).
Many years ago, one of my nieces would say an entire sentence in baby Martian. If you asked her what she said, she would repeat the exact same sentence. The only word of it I learned was "bobm", which was her word for "apple". But then she switched over to English pretty quickly and the Martian went away.

#GS3 had another growth spurt. He’s now too big for “18 months” clothing, so he’s wearing “24 months” clothing. He’s too big for everything I’ve sent him so far. Hopefully, he’ll get some use out of the Dodgers jerseys I plan to ship tomorrow before they announce that he’s wearing “men’s large”.

#GS3 just discovered Dr Seuss rap! https://youtu.be/I8-EXMxufG8
Now they’ll never get him away from screens.
-
#GS3 is getting an early start ... he's already discovered coloring on the walls. This is the reason I did not buy him those "easy wash off" crayons I saw. I figure "easy" may not be as easy as one hopes.
-
#GS3 looks so intense as he "helps" sweep the floor.
-
#GS3 got his hands on a ball-point pen, so he's got a home-made tattoo on his leg. He had to lift his leg and show his grandpa his work. He also drew on a piece of cardboard, which he also showed me. He really enjoys scribbling. We'll see if this leads to a long-term affection for writing / drawing / painting.
#sonTwo is getting fewer hours at $TEMP_JOB, so he's looking forward to more time to study. It looks like it may be June before $MAIN_EMPLOYER reopens and calls them back to work.
#sonOne is going to move one of the girls into the room the boys ( #GS1 and #GS2 ) just left. #GD1 and #GD2 will have their own rooms!
-
#GS3 has learned to ham it up for the camera. He's ahead of his cousin #GD1 ... she was about 2.5 years before she started that.
-
That joyful time when the 1 year old is feeding himself, then takes slobbery food out of his / her mouth and tries to feed you. That's why dogs and babies get along so well.
Today's good morning pics of #GS3 reminded me.

Finished today’s #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ) already. Good morning and #TZAG.
Yesterday, I drank double my usual amount of (decaffeinated) coffee and my usual amount of water, as the resurgent cold kept converting fluids into mucus. I felt pretty unproductive as I coughed and sneezed the entire time I was awake from 03:00 to 22:00 ... but I guess I did get some things done:
* Installed #Lubuntu 20.04 in place of 18.04—because of some deep changes, upgrading was not recommended—and then installed some of the things I’m currently working on learning
* I found an “Intro to SciLab” slideshow, so I installed #SciLab on the Win10 machine and started stepping along with the slideshow. There’s still quite a bit to go, but it seems doable. I’m considering downloading some #COVID-19 data and trying to see whether there are better ways to present it than most of the present sites are using.
* We had our second family-wide #videochat on #JitsiMeet last evening. It is really targeted at my siblings (including the extended groups that grew up in different states). I dropped out when it was time to talk to #GS3 on #Wire ... he’s got a new area to explore, so he and the granddoggy are spending a lot of time searching the recesses of the enclosed porch.
Today seems to be a little better so far, as there’s a lot less runny nose and sneezing (no coughing yet today).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmZqb2VVc48 Singing #GS3’s good morning (and good evening) song right now.
We’re not on a videochat, so he can’t see or hear me, so I sent them this link.
