@jake Jacob is that really you?
-
@chickleflour Yes mom. Oh my goodness.... I hoped I'd find you on here. It's... it's so good, it really so good to, I didn't know how big this would feel.
-
@jake @chickleflour Tell me, what was pumpkin's favorite toy?
-
@chickleflour Don't you know? Pumpkin always played with teddyboo. Why this question?
-
@jake @chickleflour My boy! You are my boy! WHY HAS IT BEEN TEN YEARS!?! You blew away and everyone thought you were dead. I TOLD YOU TO DRESS BETTER! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME??????
-
@chickleflour This is the inquisition I get? Look, it wasn't easy for me either. And really, who would have really thought that my clothes were so baggy that the wind would actually catch them and carry me away? That's not an actual thing, or at least it usually isn't. I was a teenager. Hoodies aren't the lightest piece of clothing.
-
@jake @chickleflour I'm sorry. I've just been on the edge since you've been gone. A mother's not supposed to lose her child, you know. For ten years, my son's been dead. You're not dead, but you were, and I've been upset every day. It's not usual for me to have a good day, and I don't know what to do when one this joyous occurs. I just... I've missed ten years of your life. What has happened this whole time? Who is my boy now? You're... you're not a boy anymore are you. Ten years. I've missed most of your teenage years. You're an adult now. You're twenty four. You're not my boy, you're my man...no. That's not right. Are you somebody's man? Is there a lady in your life? A Mrs. Jacob Hickleflour? Or is it jake now?
-
@chickleflour Sephora Hickleflour's her name! We got married two years ago! I'm sorry you missed the wedding. It was just us and the crew. We had our wedding on the road, just as it was meant to be. Oh goodness mom, I'm so sorry that you missed my wedding. As much as this whole journey has changed my life and just made me a better person, I wish it didn't mean I'd have to lose you for it to happen. I just really wish that it wasn't that way, but at the same time I'm glad that my life turned out the way it did. I don't know how to explain this better.
-
@jake @chickleflour Tell me from the start. I want to know. What happened in between now and the day at the park?
-
@chickleflour Well, after I just got completely blown away by the weather, I had no clue where I was. It would have been a lot more fun if it was planned, but being carried away by the wind in an accidental manner was a bit frightening. I looked around and around, and had no clue where I was. I thought I knew Arkwood Pond, but this area was rather unfamiliar. I tried walking in the direction I thought I came from, but somehow that didn't work. I just kept walking through what was the strangest woods I had ever seen. This wasn't Arkwood Pond Park Woods either, this was different, but it felt... well... I can't really describe how it felt. After about two days of walking, I finally got to a road. Well, not a big road, just a little path through the woods, but a drivable road nonetheless. I started walking down it, and rather quickly a van drove up to where I was and stopped.

@chickleflour This wasn't a minivan either, this was a straight up proper van, but it was weird. You know that girl that sells pop out of the back of her van at concerts, and you can never quite tell what make and model of van it is that she has, but she says she was born in it and you wonder how the van lasted that long but you'd never be able to find one for yourself because the van is so unique you wonder if it's custom made? Well, I saw another one. This van that pulled up to me was just like it, except it was rust brown instead of dark light green. It wasn't rusty either, just like her's seems to never rust. It was weird. It was weird for them too.

@chickleflour I'll tell you more about it tomorrow night. We've got to run now. Life's never short when you're with the crew.
-
@jake @chickleflour Wait... who's the crew? Jake?
